About This Blog

I have previously kept journal-like things in the past and have discovered that it is a great way for me to get my thought process down in a more permanent form. The discipline of writing regular posts keeps things moving, and the slight fear that someone might read them helps me keep the quality up. I have set this blog up to continue in that tradition.

This is a personal place for me to document my thought processes, however I am happy for others to read and comment. I find things really start moving and getting good when other people get involved.

I am writing this under my real name, under a domain that is associated with me, so that puts certain constraints on what I am comfortable writing, but it also provides me with certain motivations that I hope will help.

I intend to occasionally talk about work related things here, but I in no way intend to represent the views of my employer, and will do my best to avoid being too specific unless necessary. Personal rants and overly personal information will be kept to my (completely separate) LiveJournal account.

Categories represent my main areas of interest and may change over time.

Feel free to comment on things or link to here from other places should you find anything worthy among the noise.
